Proposal for 2010

 

It is proposed with sufficient funding for Chapmans Offroad to enter both Clayton’s Triton & Rob’s Pajero in all rounds of the AORC in their respective class. Our main focus will be on Clayton defending his Production 4WD Class Champion title.

Events for 2010 are:

     Hyden WA  - 2-4 April

     Finke Desert Race NT - 12-13 June

     Griffith NSW - 24-25 July

     Millicent SA - 4-5 September

     Goondiwindi QLD 16-17 October

 

The  Australian Offroad Racing rounds are being televised on 1HD, and  often feature in 4WD magazine & newspaper articles. The latest being the November issue of Overlander magazine. With events all around Australia our vehicles are a travelling billboard for our sponsors.

 

As well as the AORC, it is proposed that all 3 vehicles will enter into the 8 rounds of the Qld offroad series. Events such as Expo & Mud, Bulls & Music and the Coopers Rally at Landcruiser Mountain Park are on the agenda as well.

We are really keen to offer Clayton as much opportunity to compete and develop as we can, because he definitely has a talent in this field of motorsport.

His time at the AIS in Canberra has also been of benefit in assisting him to improve his performances in offroad racing. Clayton also competed in Rally Qld 2008 and at the Gallangowan Rally in a Mitsubishi Starion. Competing in different vehicles and terrain etc also helps to build his skill levels.

 

We would thank our sponsors  Cooper Tires which provide us with tyres for our vehicles. Staun Racing have supplied us with racing rims and internal beadlocks, which have also helped us achieve the results we gained in 2009.
